CANCELED: Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends
CANCELED: Due to inclement weather, Alliance Theatre’s “Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends” performance at the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park Amphitheatre on Saturday, May 26 is canceled.
The Alliance Theatre and the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. will work together to schedule another free performance on the BeltLine in the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park in the near future.
Atlanta’s Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre will preview scenes from its upcoming family production WINNIE-THE-POOH in the Historic Fourth Ward Park Amphitheatre (680 Dallas St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308) on May 26 at 10:30 a.m. The performance is free and open to the public.
In addition to scenes and music from the Alliance’s upcoming production WINNIE-THE-POOH, beloved characters from other productions in the Alliance Theatre’s Youth and Families Series will take the stage to perform iconic scenes and songs, including selections from THE WIZARD OF OZ. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early, as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
As a part of the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. initiative to provide free, accessible art to all Atlantans, the Alliance Theatre and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra are teaming up with the Atlanta BeltLine for performances and programming along the corridor. The May 10 ASO performance was canceled due to weather and will be rescheduled soon.
