Eugene H. Russell, IV

Eugene H. Russell IV (Composer) is an Atlanta native, Tennessee State University alumnus, and proud Girl Dad. He's served as both a vocalist and saxophonist for countless bands who've opened for the likes of George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Boyz II Men, KC & the Sunshine Brand, and Mother’s Finest. An accomplished musician/composer whose single “What If” can be found on all streaming platforms, Eugene IV recently co-wrote the music for The Boy Who Kissed the Sky which was co-produced by the Alliance Theatre and Seattle Children’s Theatre. He's currently working on the music for a Theatrical Outfit world premiere Hip-Hop musical about John Lewis. His regional theatre acting credits include East Texas Hotlinks (True Colors Theatre Company), Dutchman (Nebraska Repertory Theatre), and Before It Hits Home (St. Louis Black Rep), for which he received the prestigious Woodie King, Jr. Award.
