BIOS

Jamal Greer

Jamaal Greer has served as the Director of Posse Atlanta since 2022. Jamaal’s background includes extensive experience in youth development, community advocacy, and family engagement. His current position marks a return to Posse; he began his career on the Posse Atlanta program staff, working directly with Scholars.  

“My past work with Posse Scholars was extremely inspiring. Seeing our students succeed at such a high rate—with the support of Posse programming—confirmed for me that there is no one doing better work with leadership, higher education, and retention than Posse.” 

Jamaal holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. He is also a dedicated leader in his local community as the co-founder of SLAM Athletics, a YMCA advisory board member and coach, and as a member of the WorkSource Atlanta board of directors. 

Meredith Johnson

Meredith Johnson has served as the Development Director for Posse Atlanta since 2024. She was previously the senior career program specialist for Posse Atlanta with past experience as assistant dean of students at Berry College.  

Meredith earned a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor’s degree from Berry College.  

Outside of work, Meredith gives back to her community as a Girl Scout troop leader and board member for Communities in Schools of Rome-Floyd County.  

Jill Martin

Jill Martin serves on the Posse Atlanta advisory board as a Posse National Alumni Advisory Council representative. Jill was a member of Atlanta’s first Posse to attend Brandeis University where she received her undergraduate degree in global studies with a minor in South Asian studies. Jill also received the Brandeis University DEIS Graduate Fellowship award to complete her master’s degree in global studies. Jill is currently a senior marketing specialist at Honeywell. 

Jill is an avid supporter of Atlanta’s art scene. She is active in the High Museum’s Young Professionals Society, Ladies Who Golf, and GrlsATL- a women’s social club encouraging community service and business development.
