Spring Break & Summer Internship Opportunities
The Alliance Theatre’s Education Department offers a variety of internships that can be used toward high school community service and college credit at many schools. Opportunities range from working in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant for our Summer Drama Day Camps to assisting with preparation and execution of our Educator Conference. Interns will gain real-world experience in arts & education related fields and work under the guidance and mentorship of our guest artists and staff.
TYA/USA National Conference and Festival Internship Opportunities
Local Atlanta students and teaching artists are encouraged to apply for the 2019 TYA/USA National Festival & Conference Intern Program.
Interns will work alongside the Alliance Theatre Education and Production staff to produce this dynamic event. Depending on the Intern’s qualifications and interests, duties will include assisting with conference sessions and festival shows, way-finding, staffing the registration desk, and providing general administrative support. Interns must possess maturity, outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to the field of theatre for young audiences.

High School Teaching Assistant Opportunities
Must be at least 16 years old.
Join the Team! Be part of the excitement inside our classrooms by becoming a Teaching Assistant with our Drama Day Camps. As a teaching assistant you will participate everyday in the classroom along with the students. You will learn valuable leadership skills, earn community service credit, earn class hours, and have fun! There are a limited number of positions available. You must be 16 years of age when camp starts. All interested applicants must fill out an application will have an interview with the producer and camp manager.
