Where Butterflies Go in the Winter

Selig Family Black Box Theatre

A free play reading staged as part of Kendeda Week 2018.

by Tori Sampson
directed by Lydia Fort, Emory University

Boom, boom, boom, the sound of a ball hitting an urban wall. The soundscape of a world. Just as Lou is about to leave for college, his father delivers Lou's younger brother—identical in both eyes and name—to her doorstep. Meanwhile, Zora channels her grief over the loss of her mother into her basketball. A play and a piece of theatrical poetry.

Friday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m.

This reading is free; RSVPs are suggested. Our Black Box Theatre is located on the third floor of The Woodruff Arts Center's Memorial Arts Building at 1280 Peachtree Street NE.
