Allyship: First Rehearsal Workshop

Led by a facilitator from the Alliance Theatre Allyship program, this workshop guides a middle or high school ensemble through the process of establishing a culture of genuine equity, inclusion, and respect in the rehearsal room. Members of the cast and crew will use theater-based learning strategies to help challenge assumptions and acknowledge biases in order to create a safe creative space for all involved with the production. This training allows students the opportunity to experience the same standard of safety that all productions at the Alliance Theatre undergo before fulfilling our mission of expanding hearts and minds onstage and off.
