Adams co-founded the production company WalkRunFly, which is producing The Hunger Games for the London stage and Whorl Inside a Loop for Broadway. Past productions include Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Tony Award) and Of Mice and Men on Broadway. Adams was born and raised in South Africa and was the first recipient of the Nelson Mandela/Sainsbury scholarship to study at the Rambert School in London. He has danced with companies in Europe, Africa, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. He was the  first recipient of the Rudolf Nureyev Award in Europe and serves as an adjunct professor at NYU and Princeton University.
