Meet the Teacher
Jose Miguel Vasquez
Jose Miguel Vasquez has been a professional working actor since 2008, his acting career began in Central Florida working on industrials and commercials for clients like Royal Caribbean, Publix, Disney, and Brighthouse Networks. In 2010 he began his professional stage work at the Orlando Repertory Theatre, with a focus on TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences). His stage work at the Orlando REP led to work as a Teaching Artist with the REP Education Department and a Kennedy Center for the Arts certification. Upon relocating with his family to Georgia in August of 2014, he was cast in the Alliance’s Theatre for the Very Young show The Lizard and El Sol. Jose Miguel also has TV and Film credits like USA network’s former hit show Burn Notice, Have and Have Nots, Halt and Catch Fire, and upcoming films Term Life and Offer and Compromise. He’s worked for commercial clients in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, such as NAPA Auto Parts, Kroger INC, and Avadian Credit Union to name a few. He’s also part of the Rethink/ORANGE Productions team of actors that brings a positive and fun message to kids. Jose Miguel feels honored to share what he’s learned to the Alliance Acting Program and its enthusiastic group of young actors.
