Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical

Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical

May 27 to June 28, 2015 | On the Hertz Stage
Part of the Family Series

Based on the beloved children's book by Mo Willems

A great time for children ages 3–10.

Trixie, Daddy, and Knuffle Bunny take a trip to the Laundromat. But the adventure takes a dramatic turn when Trixie realizes somebunny was left behind. Using live actors and beautiful projections, this play tells a true-to-life tale about what happens when Daddy's in charge and things go terribly, hilariously wrong.

Based on his beloved Caldecott Honor-winning picture book, six-time Emmy Award-winner Mo Willems joins Grammy Award-winning composer Michael Silversher to lovingly celebrate the heart and heartache of toddler drama. This play is being produced in partnership with the High Museum of Art’s exhibition Seriously Silly! The art & whimsy of Mo Willems.

In an effort to cater to the busy theatre patron with the full schedule, here are five reasons why you should strongly consider spending an afternoon or evening on the Pequod.

Bill Nunn - Blues for an Alabama Sky

Alliance Theatre Playwright in Residence Pearl Cleage remembers her friend and colleague, actor Bill Nunn (Do the Right Thing, Spider Man), who starred as Sam in her world premiere production, Blues for an Alabama Sky.

The Alliance Teen Ensemble has the opportunity to see and review each production during the season. See their responses to "Ugly Lies the Bone."
