Holly Stevenson

Actress, storyteller, teacher, writer and singer Holly is well-known for her expressiveness, energy, versatility and humor. She is thrilled to be returning for another run of A Child's Garden of Verses. She is a Young Audiences teaching artist and her one-woman performances have delighted thousands of Atlanta schoolchildren over the past 20 years. 

Recent shows for grown-ups include include Essential Theatre’s A  Sleeping Country (MAT Award), Caught in the Net, A Man for All Seasons, Belle of Amherst, Christmas at Sweet Apple (Theatre in the Square), Spreading it Around  (Woody Award) and Greetings (Stage Door Players). She has commercial, print and voice-over credits on her resume.

She received her Theatre Degree from the University of Victoria in Canada and studied clowning with Master Clown teachers Philippe Gaulier and Sue Morrison in Toronto.

Since 1997, she has been a teacher/director with the Alliance Theatre Summer Drama Day Camp and Lecturer (Alexander Technique) in the Dance Department at Emory University.
