Eavesdropping is being produced through Alliance Theatre Education, so it is a hybrid being. It is a class, a training opportunity, but it is also a production. This entity is called a ‘performance class’ because everything in the experience is geared toward the creation and performance of the piece. The training focus is on the depth of the acting required in the music, combined with the technical tools of the voice, as well as a focus on movement and gesture in repetitive ways to create and understandable rhythm of character and story for the audience, as there is no dialogue, only song.
