Alliance Theatre Guild Updates
The Guild (ATG) is planning an exciting agenda for the upcoming January-May 2010 Calendar of Events.
Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of the above months at 10:30am at spacious area homes and will feature outstanding speakers such as noted playwright Pearl Cleage and Kenny Leon, Artistic Director of True Colors Theatre, as well as Michael Taromina, Executive Director of Cobb Energy Center.
At every meeting, we shine the “Spotlight on the Alliance” with updates this season from Artistic Director Rosemary Newcott, Artistic and Literary Associate, Patrick McColery, Associate Director of Communications, Robert Saxon, Alliance Technical Director, Victor Smith, and Alliance Reviewers Amy Ard, Lisa Brathwaite, and Anna Overton. A Peach of a Party caters our noon lunches (reservations required).
The Guild provides Company Meals for the cast and crew of the Main Stage and Hertz productions and welcomes donations of food or money. Please contact Sarah Larson if you wish to join us for meetings, projects and fundraisers.

Alliance Children’s Theatre Guild Updates
Our biggest fundraiser, Christmas House, was a great success! The Christmas House Tea was a hot item this year.
Upcoming opportunities include participating in one of the READ ALOUD workshops that is lead by Nancy Meyer. Space is available for January 25 and February 17. Please contact June Tompkins at jtomp777@aol.com if you are interested in attending.
