Bart was last seen at the Alliance in last season’s production of August: Osage County as Sheriff Deon Gilbeau. His previous Alliance credits include Grapes of Wrath, A Death in the House Next Door to Kathleen Turner’s House on Long Island, A Question of Mercy, A Christmas Carol, Tennis in Nablus and many delightful Alliance Theatre for Youth and Families shows like Ferdinand the Bull, The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer and Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse. On the regional scene, Mr. H has performed in Actor’s Theatre of Louisville’s A Tuna Christmas as one half of the town, as well as Psuedolous in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for the Attic Theatre in Detroit. His film and television credits include “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” as the recurring fireman Bart and “Good Eats,” as various and sundry gormands who plague host Alton Brown. He also keeps popping up in films, such as Why Did I Get Married, Too?, Deja Vu, One Missed Call and Broken Bridges. Around town, you may have spied Mr. H in Superior Donuts as Max Tarasov at Horizon Theatre and Keith in Gray Area at The Aurora. As per tradition, Mr. H sends his love to Miss Haley and Mr. Will. Bernard is thrilled to return to the Alliance Theatre as Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. He was recently seen as JB in The Real Tweenagers of Atlanta (Alliance Theatre); Ernst in Spring Awakening (Actor’s Express); Jason in A Grand Night For Singing (Stage Door Players); Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol; Miss Bible Belt in Pageant The Musical, written and directed by Tony Award nominee Bill Russell (14th Street Playhouse); Mushu in Mulan (Alliance Theatre); Arvin in Zanna, Don’t! I Dream (Musical Dramatic Arts on the Alliance Stage), directed by Jasmine Guy and nominated for 10 Suzi Awards and winner of Best World Premiere Suzi.

Synchronicity. Played Marshall Chess in
Who Do You Love (directed by Broadway’s Jerry Zaks and winner of the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival Audience Award). Tendal enjoyed premieres and red carpets in Toronto, N.Y. and LA., and recently completed a dream gig in the Bahamas for Cartoon Network. Tendal is on a tennis team, enjoys soccer, horseback, tap dancing and is the drummer in a band. He’s homeschooled/unschooled along with brother Royce, is with People Store/Hot Shot Kids in ATL and MKS in L.A. and is a proud Equity Membership Candidate. The Little Mermaid at The Kudzu Theater as well as a fun role as Dorothy in her school chorus. Tessa is excited to be performing in the Georgia All-State Middle School Choir this year. Off-stage, she competes in gymnastics on the Roswell Gymnastics Team and continues to excel academically as a seventh grader at The Galloway School. In her free time, Tessa has a passion for reading and writing. Brad, a Chicago native, has performed as an actor, singer or conductor at some of the "windy city’s" most esteemed institutions including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Light Opera Works of Chicago, the Ravinia Festival and the Cerqua-Rivera Dance Theatre. Since his relocation to Georgia, Brad has been fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of productions at the Atlanta Opera, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Essential Theatre, Theatre In The Square and Spivey Hall. James (Tré) returns for his fourth year in
A Christmas Carol at the Alliance. Tré is now a seventh grader in the Fulton County School System, Tré made his acting debut in second grade while participating in a pilot performing arts program with the Rialto Theater. During this time, Tré's roles included that of Willie in
Surfing Santa, the Emperor in
The Emperor’s New Clothes and Mighty History Mind in the musical
Mighty Minds. Outside of the theater, Tré is an honor student, member of the Student Government Association, Science Club, Concert Band, soloist for the Youth Choir and also serves as vice-president for the Youth Department at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Tré is ambitiously striving to become an award winning actor.

Rosemary has been directing, acting and teaching at the Alliance Theatre since 1988. Newcott also has directed at the Horizon Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Center for Puppetry Arts, Academy Theatre, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Virginia Stage Company and Seaside Rep. She holds extensive stage and film acting credits. In 2005, she received the GTC Distinguished Career Award. Newcott is also the recipient of a 2008 Princess Grace Special Project Grant. This spring she will direct a brand new family musical — Knuffl ebunny by Mo Williams — at the Kennedy Center.
