Christy is excited to be a part of this wonderful holiday tradition once again. She was last seen quacking around the Alliance as Ida in Honk! last spring. Corey holds a BA in theatre and performance studies and has also trained at the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Bart was last seen at the Alliance in last season’s production of August: Osage County as Sheriff Deon Gilbeau. His previous Alliance credits include Grapes of Wrath, A Death in the House Next Door to Kathleen Turner’s House on Long Island, A Question of Mercy, A Christmas Carol, Tennis in Nablus and many delightful Alliance Theatre for Youth and Families shows like Ferdinand the Bull, The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer and Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse. On the regional scene, Mr. H has performed in Actor’s Theatre of Louisville’s A Tuna Christmas as one half of the town, as well as Psuedolous in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for the Attic Theatre in Detroit. His film and television credits include “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” as the recurring fireman Bart and “Good Eats,” as various and sundry gormands who plague host Alton Brown. He also keeps popping up in films, such as Why Did I Get Married, Too?, Deja Vu, One Missed Call and Broken Bridges. Around town, you may have spied Mr. H in Superior Donuts as Max Tarasov at Horizon Theatre and Keith in Gray Area at The Aurora. As per tradition, Mr. H sends his love to Miss Haley and Mr. Will. Glenn is thrilled to be rejoining his Christmas Carol family. He has worked on most every Atlanta stage and was on Broadway for seven years in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. He was most recently seen at the Aurora Theatre as caustic theatre critic Sherman Farragut in John Ahlin’s comedy Gray Area. Last season, Glenn received Atlanta’s Suzi Bass Award for Leading Actor in a Musical for his performance as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre. His last appearance here at the Alliance was in Jesus Christ Superstar GOSPEL. Nicholas Sanders

Nicholas is very happy to be making his Alliance Theatre debut. He was most recently seen as the adorable Charlie Bradley in Synchronicity Theatre’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Prior to that he played the role of Fred Gilbreth in Cheaper By The Dozen (New Dawn Theatre). Nicholas is in the 5th grade at St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School. He enjoys school, singing and acting. Performing at the Alliance is a dream come true and he is excited to be part of this wonderful production.
Jordan Shoulberg

Jordan is thrilled to return to the Alliance Theatre for her third season of A Christmas Carol. Over the summer, Jordan appeared as Peter in Peter Pan. Previous credits include: Gretl in The Sound Of Music at the Center Theatre, a national PSA for Family Life, The Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition Reading and Performance of Splinters and a voice over for “The Colour of Her Dreams.” During Jordan’s free time, she loves playing soccer and spending time with her family, friends and three crazy dogs. Bradley Washington

Bradley is excited to join the cast of A Christmas Carol. Favorite theater credits include Willy Wonka (Candy Man, Mable House Theater), Oliver! (Book Seller’s Boy/Fagin’s Gang, Mable House Theater), Babes in Toyland (Jack Horner, Kudzu Playhouse) and A Christmas Carol (Poulterer’s Boy, Kudzu Playhouse). Bradley enjoys writing and drawing. He plays lacrosse and wrestles. He is 13 years old and in the 7th grade at Whitefield Academy. He has performed annually in his school’s spring production. He played the lead role of Andy in The Pirates of the “I don’t care” ibean and Romeo in the Whitefield Academy Middle School Production, All I Really Need to Know I Learned by Being in a Bad Play. D Martyn Bookwalter has designed more than 400 productions for theatres across the country. His designs include the awardwinning production of Talley’s Folly at the Pasadena Playhouse and several productions for Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, including Like Jazz, QED (and the subsequent Lincoln Center Theatre production), The Wood Demon, Hunting Cockroaches, Passion Play and Frankie & Johnnie in the Clair De Lune. He designed A Perfect Wedding, the inaugural production at the new Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City, as well as Barbara Cook’s Mostly Sondheim at the Ahmanson. He has designed for the Geffen Playhouse, Long Wharf Theatre, Playhouse Theatre in London, San Diego Rep, San Jose Rep, Pittsburgh CLO, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Colorado Festival of World Theatre and South Coast Rep, among others. He was the art director of the hit Fox television show “MADtv,” for which he received eight consecutive Emmy nominations. Other awards include the 2001 Angstrom Lighting Lifetime Achievement Award from the L.A. Drama Critics Circle, four Drama Critics Circle Awards, a Sarah Siddons Award and 25 Drama-Logue Awards.
Mariann Verheyen

Mariann has been designing for the Alliance since 1985, most recently for August in Osage County and Avenue X (Suzi Nomination in Costume Design). Other shows at the Alliance include August Wilson Full Circle: Gem of the Ocean and Radio Golf, Intimate Apparel (Suzi Bass Award winner for Best Costume Design, 2005-06), Day of the Kings, A Christmas Carol and Light Up the Sky. New York credits include Cathy Rigby’s Peter Pan, Everybody’s Ruby (AudelcoAward Nomination), numerous off-Broadway productions and 10 years of commercial styling. Regionally, her work has been seen at the Ford’s, Huntington and Studio Arena theatres; Missouri Rep; and the Chicago, Alabama, Oregon and Colorado Shakespeare theatres. She has designed costumes for Disney Cruise Lines, Disney World’s Animal Kingdom and Sea World San Antonio. Awards include three I.R.N.E.s in Boston, Villager Downtown Theater Award of NYC, two Best of Atlanta’s, Chicago’s 2002 Jeff Award and 2005 and 2007 Jeff Award nominations. She is a recipient of a Distinguished Achievement Awards from her undergrad and high school alma maters. She is head of the Costume Design program at Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Theater.
