Paul Armbruster - (BS - Speech Ed.) - Paul is a successful voice talent with 20+ years of experience in Atlanta & Los Angeles. Credits include Home Depot, Ford, Coca-Cola, KFC, Holiday Inn, AT&T and Disney World.

Sharon Foote - (SAG, AFTRA, AEA) - Sharon has extensive acting experience in New York, Los Angeles, and the Southeast. She is also the founder of Foote Communications, a corporate training company that teaches the art of presentation skills.

BJ Hughes - (AEA) - With over 30 years of experience in theatre, film, and commercials, he has performed with the Alliance Theatre, Horizon Theatre, Theatre Gael, and Theatre in the Square. He produces and directs The Players and the Summer Rep.

Carol Jones - - Director of Education Partnerships/Teacher Training, she has 25 years of theatre experience. She founded/directed two youth theatres, acted/directed in community theatre and worked in an Atlanta talent agency. Carol teaches Theatre for Youth at Kennesaw State University.

Linda Sherbert - (MFA) - Linda is a produced playwright and longtime playwriting instructor at numerous venues, including the 14th ST Playhouse, where she has served as the producing director.

Youth Instructors

Vikki Chappell Elvitt - (BFA, SAG, AEA) - An actor, singer, and director, she has performed on Broadway, off Broadway, and in regional and summer stock theatre. She also has commercial, soap opera, TV, and voice over credits. She is the founder of Day Star Arise Production Company.

Allison Biggers Gardner - (BFA - Drama, SAG) - Allison has taught for the Acting Program for several years. She has performed professionally on stage, in commercials, and in films. One of her favorite projects was touring England with a Christian drama group.

Angie Harrell - (MFA, AEA) - Angie received her MFA at the Actors Studio Drama School. She has been teaching youth and children’s theatre since 1996. Acting credits include stage, film, television and commercials.

Laura Heckman - (SAG, AFTRA, MA -Education Theatre NYU) - Laura was the cofounder and the Performing Arts Director of 5 years for the Expressive Arts Program, The Children’s School, NYC. Laura has appeared in commercials, soaps, film, television, and on stage.

Leslie Howe - (BA - Theatre) - Leslie earned her Bachelor’s in Theatre from Harding University in 2001 and is busy acting and teaching here in Atlanta. Lesley teaches at the Master’s Academy of Fine Arts where she has recently directed several shows.

Jan Jensen - - Jan has worked professionally as an actress, director, and acting teacher for twenty years.

LeeAnna Lambert - (BFA) - LeeAnna earned her BFA from the University of Connecticut. In Atlanta, she has done children’s tours with GMT and Kaiser Permanente, Offshoot, and the Aurora Theatre.

Barry Stewart Mann - (BA, MFA, AEA, AFTRA) - Barry studied at Harvard, the Neighborhood Playhouse, and the University of San Diego. He has been on numerous Atlanta stages and teaches and performs through Young Audiences and the Georgia Council for the Arts.

Michelle McCullough Hazard - (BA) - A local actress, she has been an instructor with the Alliance Theatre since 1999. She earned her BA in Theatre from Spelman College.

Kirk Harris Seaman - (BA) - Kirk is a graduate of Newberry College and a former Acting Program student. He also works with the Atlanta Shakespeare Company as the Education Programs Coordinator.

Sheri Mann Stewart - (MA, SAG, AFTRA, AEA) - An actor, director, and playwright with national theatre and film credits, she hold degrees from Catholic University and Antioch University. She studied with famed acting teacher Stella Adler, and is on the faculty at Emory University.

Bethany Anne Lind - - Previous Alliance credits include two world premieres: 26 Miles and Carapace. Other world premieres: Night Blooms at Horizon Theatre, The Storytelling Ability of a Boy at Florida Stage, and Buy My House Please at Aurora Theatre.
