Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Award Finalists Readings
February 1-2, 2010
The February Kendeda Week play reading series, now in its sixth year, has become one of the most exciting new play experiences in Atlanta. Two finalist plays, Love Jerry and last year’s critically acclaimed Fair Use, have been produced by Actor’s Express while Kendeda finalists Carson Kreitzer, Megan Gogerty, Josh Tobiessen and Mat Smart have returned to Atlanta with productions or workshops of their plays. It’s a great opportunity to hear plays read by Atlanta’s finest actors and participate in a discussion after each reading about where these talented writers can find artistic homes in the Atlanta area. Come celebrate Atlanta’s commitment to new work and meet the next generation of American writers!

FAMILIES Centerstage 2010
February 27, 2010 An annual festival that puts families and great theatre in the spotlight while benefitting the Alliance Children’s Theatre. Join the Alliance Children’s Theatre for a great family fun fair showcasing Mulan, based on the animated Disney movie! Between two performances, the Woodruff Arts Center Galleria will be transformed into an interactive festival with a Chinese flair. Sing, dance, move, and create your own art with Atlanta’s favorite children’s organizations and businesses while supporting the Alliance Children’s Theatre! You may even see a dragon or two!
